Kitchen Splashback
The customers in Lyde Green, BS16, Bristol, were looking for an update to their old upstand around the worktop and a replacement of the tired-looking glass splashback. The old window sill also needed removal and replacement with new tiles to match. They selected a ceramic concave arrow tile in matt, complemented with a water-resistant limestone grout.
Challenge, Materials & Conclusion
Installing arrow-shaped tiles with tapered edges can create some challenges when it comes to measuring and cutting the tiles to fit in to some areas. Due to the smaller tile size some extra time, care and attention was required around the corners and electrical sockets.
