Floor Tiling

Floor tiling using ceramic or porcelain is a popular choice for both domestic and commercial environments due to its durability, aesthetic appeal, and ease of maintenance. Porcelain and ceramic tiles are two of the most common materials used for floor tiling, each with their own unique advantages and disadvantages.

Porcelain tiles have a number of advantages. They are made from a dense, fine-grained clay that is fired at a high temperature, making them incredibly hard and durable, highly resistant to moisture, stains, and scratches. They are an excellent choice for high-traffic areas.

Ceramic tiles, on the other hand, are made from a mixture of clay and other materials and are fired at a lower temperature than porcelain tiles. While they are not as hard or durable as porcelain tiles, they are still a good choice for many flooring applications, particularly in areas with low to moderate foot traffic. Flex Tiling (BS16) offers a range of floor preparation and services.
